Welcome to the results of Song Contest 10!
Before we begin, we have an announcement!

There will be a break from the Song Contests for roughly 1 month. We shall return at the start of October.
This is simply to give everyone a short break, and to return refreshed. (Plus, I'm going to be busy for a short while)

I shall contact everyone from this contest (plus anyone who emails in the mean time to show their interest) when we are due to restart.

Now... onto the Results!
Jamaica is first up to give their points!
France with the early lead, while Cadenza, Germanyland and World of Dreams get zero points from Jamaica. What changes will happen as Bearville give their results?
Parts Unknown take the lead from France, and already all countries have received points. There's a three way tie near the bottom, and it's still all to play for as World of Dreams step forward.
Parts Unknown keep their lead, while False Front ends up a single point behind France, will France drop further behind as they give their votes?
Parts Unknown retain their lead as False Front continue to climb up steadily, while further back there is a four way tie with Bearville, World of Dreams, Cadenza and Germanyland all on 10 points. Jakesville step forward to give their results!
False Front take the lead with a strong dive into first as Parts Unknown receive zero points. Drink in hand, Tortuga's representative steps forwards to hand their results out.
Disneyland move up into third place (because of tie breakers), and it's all rather close in the middle of the pack with only 5 points separating France in 4th and Westhomage in 8th. Germanyland now give their points.
False Front continue to extend their lead as Disneyland moves up into second. France remains on 30 points, while the gap behind them closes up even more. Disneyland now give their points!
With low points to False Front the gap behind them closes up, but they retain the lead. Tortuga moves up into second place, and France receives no points again and drops to the right hand side of the standings. Cadenza now give their results!
No points for False Front and that allows Tortuga to close the gap to just a single point, while Parts Unknown keeps third place with Disneyland only a single point behind them. What will change as Mont Saint-Michel give their results?
False Front just retain their lead, but Tortuga is still right behind them, while Parts Unknown close in on the top spot as well. Fourth through Sixth are also close with only a single point separating them, before a large jump to get to seventh place. In addition, St. Vincent & The Grenadines are the first country to be knocked out of the running for first. They are also up next to give their results!
And with that half of the field are knocked out of the running! False Front extends their lead again, but this also means half of the field are still able to catch them, Parts Unknown now give their results!
Only three countries remain that can potentially win, and False Front leads by 22 points, with just two countries left to give their votes, making it a tall order for second and third to pick up the victory at this point, but it is possible, especially as False Front are next up to give their results!
False Front give no points to either Parts Unknown or Tortuga, and thus they lock in first place, meaning we now have only four countries that can take second place, and they are only separated by a single point, Westhomage would have been included, but they are the final country to give points, so they cannot improve their position. Lets see what their votes are!

False Front take the victory by being 25 points above second place, so a huge congratulations to them! Tortuga take a well deserved second place, and Disneyland not only finish on the left side of the rankings, but in third place! Thankyou to all who participated!
