Now... onto the Results!
First up we have Indigo giving out their results!
Parts Unknown take the initial lead, but with a lot of entries, there's a long way to go!
Let's Make Some Noise give their results next!
A strong start by Parts Unknown here, while Crank Street, Indigo and Westhomage are still sitting on zero points. Will St Vincent & The Grenadines change that?
And they do change things. Parts Unknown is well in the lead, and now only Crank Street sits on zero points. What will change as France steps forward?
Parts Unknown keep their lead, while Indigo leaps up the standings, Jamaica overtakes Middle-Earth for second place, and Crank Street have yet to get into gear. Gallifrey come forward to give their results.
The lead shrinks as Middle-Earth pick up 12 points, Crank Street are still sitting on zero points, and Luna now give their results!
The Gap In The Map get 12 points and move up from being near the bottom, while Parts Unknown increase their lead once again. Jamaica give their points next, so lets see what will change.
12 points to France puts them on the left side of the rankings, Noise and St. Vincent are tying at the back, while Parts Unknown retain their lead despite getting no points from Jamaica. The Gap In The Map come forward!
Parts Unknown keep their lead by a single point now as things start heating up at the top end. Crank Street however have yet to make any movement, and they definitely won't now as they are up next to give their results!
Middle-Earth finally knock Parts Unknown off the top spot, while further down Gallifrey leaps over Indigo to take third! Will anything change as Bearville step up to give their results?

Middle-Earth now take a strong lead, flying ahead of everyone, which also now means Crank Street is out of the running. There's still a large gap between Parts Unknown and the rest of the pack too, but we still have a way to go, and we have, for the first time ever, a non-entrant giving their results, so Italy come forward to give their results in!
Despite a full 12 points, Let's Make Some Noise are no longer in the running for first, and with Parts Unknown not moving, the gap between first and second has widened greatly, while the gap between second and third has shrunk drastically. Westhomage now with their results!
Middle-Earth now with a 27 point lead, and over half of the field can no longer win with four countries still remaining to give points. Crank Street are still on zero points. Commenttuappelle come forward to give their points next.
And with that, only two countries even have a chance of winning this, Crank Street still sits on zero points, and Indigo is only 4 points behind Parts Unknown, so as we near the end of the contest, Germanyland come forward with their results.
And with that it is impossible for anyone to catch Middle-Earth! So A huge congratulations to them for winning the 8th Song Contest. At the bottom end of the table, Crank Street have finally received their first points of the contest! Looking back to second place, with two countries left to hand in their results, only five have a chance at taking second, and Parts Unknown step forward to give their results.
Parts Unknown have a ten point lead over Indigo, so it all comes down to the final country to decide second place, and so to finish this contest off, the winners will now give their points, Middle-Earth, take it away!

And there we have it! A very strong showing by Middle-Earth, breaking the previous record of 100 points! Parts Unknown take a well deserved second place, with Indigo rounding out the top three!
