Battle of the Best

How does it work?

The below is purely for the first round, for the current round please check the voting page where all is explained.

 

The way this works is as follows. I have taken the top 64 songs from the song contest, this is every single top three place (60 songs) plus the four best scoring 4th place finishes. Then I have ranked them based on position and then points, with tie breakers being done in the usual way (most 12s, then 10s etc.). These have been then split into groups as seen below.

Round 1 is the first group stage, there are four songs to a group, and I shall only have 4 groups up for voting at a single time to allow people time to properly vote in their own time.

Round 2 will be a second group stage where the winners and runners up from round 1 get put into fresh groups.

​

Round 3 is the final knockout stage.

​

Each voting stage will be open for a week, with voting ending at the end of the day Friday night, and the next voting stage opening on Saturday morning.

You may vote for songs you entered before, as this is not about who wins overall, but merely a bit of fun to see which overall song people enjoyed most. You do not have to have taken part in the Song Contest to vote, but you must include who you are in the vote for it to count.
