Welcome to the results of Song Contest 18!

The Deadline is extended as I have a quiz to run next week, and also want to see if we can get more participants for the next one, so please let anyone you know, who may wish to enter, know about it!

A quick reminder: Ties during the results are in alphabetical order. The final image (with the gold, silver and bronze colours for 1st, 2nd and 3rd) will always be correct if there is a tiebreaker needed.

Now... onto the Results!

France give their results first!

The Orchard start off at the top, but with ten more countries to give their results, it's too early to say anything. The Glorious Bright Uplands are up next!

Germanyland jump into the top spot, and we now look to St. Vincent and the Grenadines for their results.

Germanyland take a solid lead just three countries in with two twelve points! But that's only a third of the way there, we shall now look in with Junk and see what they do with their points.

And The Orchard return back to the top, with Germanyland dropping to second. Junk however fall to last place. But there's only 20 points between first and last, so it's too close to make any assumptions as yet. Let's see what Disneyland do to thing.

And Junk get twelve points lifting them out of last place. The Orchard remain in first, but Germanyland are still right behind them, and France is moving up close behind them as well. Let's see what changes happen when Bearville give their results!

And France moves into the lead, while there is a three way tie for second place between Germanyland, The Orchard and Ryloth! Things are clearly hotting up as we pass the halfway mark. So let us see if there are any changes with Luna's results.

Twelve points to The Orchard, but France still clings on to the top spot! Ryloth stays up high in third, and Germanyland drops back down to fourth! It's still all to play for as we head to Ryloth for their results!

Ryloth manages to retain third place, while The Orchard return to the top once more. At the bottom end of things, Bearville becomes the first country who is unable to win as they can no longer score enough points to get there. Funky Town is up next to give their results!

And with that, almost every country is knocked out of the running as The Orchard is too far in the lead for most to catch! Only France and Luna have a chance as two countries need to give points, and one of those is Germanyland. However, the other is The Orchard, so are they going to ruin their own chances as we look over to them to give their results.

And just a single point to France! A four point difference between first and second, and it all comes down to Germanyland and what they do that will decide the winner!

And with that, The Orchard secures a well earned victory! France picks up a well deserved second place, with Luna filling out the top three. A huge thankyou to all who participated, and we hope to see you for the next one!
