Song Contest 20 - Results

Welcome to the results of Song Contest 20!

As this is the final contest, at least for the forseeable future, I would just like to thank everyone who has entered, whether you entered once, or entered every contest.I've had a great time listening to new music, and discovering some great stuff along the way.

We will be doing a "battle of the best" type thing that shall start soon, and I shall be posting that around when the time comes. But for now, let's get on with the results!

A quick reminder: Ties during the results are in alphabetical order. The final image (with the gold, silver and bronze colours for 1st, 2nd and 3rd) will always be correct if there is a tiebreaker needed.

Finally, Partisania and The Gap In The Map both failed to vote, and will receive 20 point penalties.

Now... onto the Results!

Disneyland are first to give their results

The Netherlands take the early lead, but as we all know, there's a long way to go, so lets check in with St. Vincent and the Grenadines for their votes.

The Netherlands drops back to fourth place, while Luna take the new lead. Space stays in second place while The Gap In The Map has already halved their 20 point penalty. Let's see what changes as The Netherlands give their results!

And Space are once again kept off the top spot as this time Bearville leap over them to take first place. The Netherlands remain in fourth, and The Gap In The Map is almost out of the negative points. Will Space remain in second as they give their results in?

And no! Space move down to third. Bearville remain on top, as Luna just edge into second! It's still all to play for as France give their results and take us across the halfway mark.

And Space finally take the top spot, however Bearville and Luna are very close, both tied for second with only a single point behind Space. France drops over to the right hand side of the board as well. Let's move over to Germanyland and see what happens there.

Bearville take the lead once more, and Luna drop back down to fourth as The Netherlands shift up to third. France manages to get back to the left hand side of things, and Partisania just manage to get themselves out of the negative points, but not by enough to remain in the running for first. Let us now look over at Luna to see what their results are.

A strong twelve for France moves them into fourth place, while The Netherlands return to the top spot. Disneyland and St. Vincent join Partisania in being unable to win, as does Heavyheart as only two countries are left to give their results, and Heavyheart is one of them!

The Netherlands holds onto the lead again, and there's another tie between Bearville and Luna for second, but unfortunately Bearville are out of the running as they are the last country to give their results. So the question is, which country will take the final top spot in the song contest? Let's check in with Bearville to find out.

And there you have it, Song Contest 20 ends with a very close top two. Congratulations to The Netherlands for winning, and also to Luna for their second place. France rounds out the third place by just beating out Space.
