Now... onto the Results

Greece are first up!

An early lead for Japan, but with 14 countries still to vote anyone has a chance at victory, so let's move straight onto the next country... which is Japan themselves!

And with that Japan drop to third and Lanhydrock jumps up to first. Canada and Greece remain on zero points. We look over to Land of the Hopeless to see if any points will be thrown their way.

Turns out no points are given to Canada or Greece, but Mad House leapfrogs over Lanhydrock to claim the top spot for the time being. But once again we're going to the current leaders to collect their points, so it's likely to change, so let's see what happens as Mad House give their results in!

And that leaves France and Lanhydrock neck and neck on points, while Japan and Unicornia are joint third. Greece finally move off the zero spot, and Plainterra are out of the negatives, leaving just Canada at the back on zero points. Hungary are up next to take us a third of the way through the results, so let's see what they do!

Canada comfortably off the bottom with that, while Hungary shove themselves into last place instead. At the top of the board France take the lead, but it's very close. We have 10 more countries to go though, and taking us into the second third is Germanyland.

That twelve pushes Plastic Beach up into third place, while France and Lanhydrock have once again tied at the top. Is this going to be a two horse race, or will one of our other contenders get involved? Let's check out Canada's results to see if that changes things!

No Woman's Land moves up to fifth there, and France edges away from Lanhydrock again. Hungary have moved off the bottom, leaving Dathomir to sit there, with only Greece joining them in single digits. With only 5 points seperating the top three it's still all to play for. We now go over to Daymare Town for their results.

And that twelve for France gives them a relatively nice lead over Lanhydrock. The gap between first and third has widened massively, and Lanhydrock won't be catching them up just yet as it's their turn to give their votes in!

France extend their lead considerably, while the rest of the pack close in on Lanhydrock there. Only nine points between second and fifth, and we're nearing the final third as No Woman's Land take us out of the second third.

Only two points to our leaders, that puts them back in catching range of Lanhydrock and Mad House. Dathomir grab a much needed ten points, but are the first to be out of the running for first place (Hungary have already given their votes, while Dathomir have yet to do so, hence Dathomir being out of the running earlier than Hungary). Let's move into the final five countries starting with Unicornia!

Nothing for France and that ten for Lanhydrock puts them both at a tied position for first once more! It's neck and neck but only three countries in total are out of the running, can any of those near the cut off point make it back to the top? Let's find out as we hear from Dathomir.

Lanhydrock pull into the lead, overtaking France by just four points there. Mad House stay in third, and despite no points here Unicornia remains in fourth place. Five more countries drop out of the running, including Plastic Beach who have yet to give their own points out, so let's go to them now!

And again it's all tied at the top. Just five countries remain in the running for first place, and only two countries are left to give their votes out, and one of them is France! How will their votes affect the scores? Let's find out now.

Lanhydrock do take the top spot, but it's only by two points. Japan and Unicornia drop out of the running and just three countries remain with a chance of victory. It all comes down to the final vote from Genovia, will Lanhydrock remain at the top? Will France come back? Can Mad House jump over the both? Let's find out now!

1st: Lanhydrock - Jonathon Young - Man The Cannons
And with that Lanhydrock are the winners of Song Contest 29! A very deserving victory there, with France picking up second place, and Mad House rounding out our top three. Thank you all for taking part, I hope you enjoyed the contest, and you will enter number 30!
Once again entries are open for Song Contest 30, so please enter in the usual way, and please be sure to vote if you enter as it does take away from the effort others put in to listen to all of the entries and from the amount of time it takes to edit everything for everyone to enjoy.
