Welcome to the results of Song Contest 30!

Before we begin, sign ups are officially open for Song Contest 31!

SC31 Entry Deadline:
Sunday 2nd July - 11:59pm GMT
Please check the home page for full details on how to enter.

Notes: I now have an automated system for doing the results images. What used to take me hours now takes far, far less. That has forced through a few changes on the results images.

Firstly, country names are now cut off after a certain amount of pixels as determined by the program.

Secondly, ties are not really shown in any form of order, merely what the program outputs them as. Only the last image will be correct and that's because I'll still make that one manually if it's required.

Finally, the nice colour coding has gone. No longer will it show a red country name if they cannot win any more unfortunately. As I'm editing the final image manually it will show the final colours still.

Three countries failed to vote, those being Cream, Uganda and Uzbekistan, and all have received a 20 point penalty.

I've removed the images showing the entries, but if people find it useful I shall add it back in from next week.

Now... onto the Results

Germanyland are first up!

Iceland dance their way into the lead there, but just under half of the field are on (or below) 0 points, so a long way to go. Let's go over to The Literature Club for their points.

Somewhere leads the way now, with a tie for second. Cream are still at the bottom on -20 points, while both Germanyland and Going For Nul Points! are still on zero. Lets see what changes when France give their points!

Somewhere still leads, but only grab a single point. Literature Club jump up to fourth place, and it's still all to play for. Let's go over to Australia for their results.

Iceland take the lead, while Somewhere drop to third! Cream finally get some points, while Going For Nul Points! Remain on zero. The only country still to receive nothing so far. Will anyone's luck change thanks to Loompaland?

Iceland remain in first, but only just. It's very close behind them though with only four points separating the top four. Going For Nul Points! remains on zero, and it won't change as we go over to them!

Cream are into the positive points now, Iceland drops back to second, and Genovia take the top spot after being in fourth previously. Alaria, sitting near the top all the way through, are sitting in third now, but we are going over to them for their results, what will change here?

The Literature Clubt come from fifth right up to second there, and Going For Nul Points! receive it's first points, thus meaning all countries are off the starting block now. Genovia still lead, but it's over to them for their points!

They remain in the lead, but are tied with The South Lake, Literature Club are in third but it's very, very close at the top, the top 7 all have a chance of taking the lead depending on the votes, so lets check out Plainterra and see what they do to the standings!

The South Lake take the top spot, while Genovia are in second, and Literature Club remain in third. There are five countries left to vote, and it's still anyone's to win, so let's see what happens as we go over to Poland!

Literature Club move into the lead, but it's extremely close up top as only two points separate first from third, but a whopping ten points as we move from third to fourth. Iceland sit in sixth, but it's now over to them for their results, let's see what is changed with their votes!

The South Lake move back into the lead, while Literature Club are knocked back to second. Genovia doesn't gain any points but remains in the top three very comfortably. Let's go over to Somewhere and see what they do.

A very good round of points for Literature Club as they return to the lead. The South Lake move back to second, and Genovia gain a brilliant ten points. Alaria moves towards the top of the pack again with their eight points, as does Loompaland with their seven. With just two countries left to vote it's still anyone's game at the top, but The South Lake are up next, will they stay in second or drop down?

Genovia take the lead, but no points at all for Literature Club mean it's still possible for The South Lake to take the top spot. Alaria can still tie with Genovia, while all other countries cannot win. Only one country left to vote, and that's The Underworld. So let's go over to them and get our final results!

And Genovia land a victory! A five point lead on second place, who in turn is a full eight points ahead of third. A huge gap between first and third. So congratulations to our top three, some well deserved placements there!
As always entries are open for Song Contest 29, so please enter in the usual way, and please be sure to vote if you enter as it does take away from the effort others put in to listen to all of the entries and from the amount of time it takes to edit everything for everyone to enjoy.
