Welcome to the results of Song Contest 37!

Before we begin, sign ups are officially open for Song Contest 38

SC38 Entry Deadline:
Sunday 10th December - 11:59pm GMT
Please check the home page for full details on how to enter.

Reminder: ties are not really shown in any form of order, merely what the program outputs them as. I'll manually edit the final image if there is a tie amongst the top 3 countries, but if it's lower down it will be noted in the text and on the Previously Entered song list.

Reminder: As of now all winners from 20 contests ago are available to be entered again. This will continue going forwards. This is due to the fact there's a long gap between entries and we get a lot of new people entering, so opening up things seems better.
That said, the same song by the artist is still banned, so be sure to check the song has not been previously entered still.

Nothingtown failed to vote, so they are penalised with -20 points.

Now... onto the Results

We start off with The Paddock!

As every country is required to get points this time only The Paddock start with zero, but the early lead is taken by Tortuga. We go over to NUSA now to see what their vote changes.

And a very solid start for Tortuga here, Poland drop from second into third. The Paddock get their starting points but it's only a single one. Nothingtown are slowly pulling themselves out of the negative points. What is going to change as Canada give us their points?

Not too much change at the top as Tortuga retain their lead with another ten points given to them. Nothingtown however have jumped up to just a couple of points below zero as they get a solid twelve points. Let's check in with our current third place, Germanyland, and see what they have to offer.

And twelve points to Poland to put them into second, but Tortuga is still a full twelve points ahead of them. Nothingtown however have leapt over NUSA already and we're not halfway into things. Tortuga is up next to give points, they can't be overtaken, but how much of their lead will disappear?

And it turns out not too much as they still lead by a full seven points, wile Nothingtown receives another twelve! Poland and Cloudland are joint second as we finish the first half of the results. Let's go check in with Loompaland to start the second half.

Tortuga's lead has been pulled back to just four points, but with Cloudland being the ones to get close. Poland now tie with Germanyland in third place. Nothingtown however are close to moving to the right side of the proceedings. Let's see what Alaria's votes change!

Poland leaps ahead and knocks Tortuga off the top spot! It's only a two point lead but it's definitely out of nowhere as Tortuga receive just two points. But it may not last long as Poland are up next with their votes!

And it really wasn't long lasting as Poland give Tortuga their full twelve and once again Tortuga are back in the lead. Everyone from Cloudland and below are out of the running. As both Cloudland and Plainterra need over twelve points to have a chance of winning, and both are yet to give their results neither can actually win. Germanyland and Poland however are still in the running. Let's check with Plainterra for their results!

And with that it's now down to just Germanyland and Tortuga, and Germanyland lead by a single point so it all comes down to Cloudland who sit in third place. Will they remain there or will they be overtaken? And Nothingtown is still on the right side of the standings, will they finish on the left? Let's go to Cloudland and find out!

1st: Germanyland - Five Finger Death Punch - Wrong Side Of Heaven

And with that Germanyland take the victory in Song Contest 37, with Tortuga in second, and Cloudland in third! A very good victory for Germanyland, and well done to all who took part.
Once again, a huge congratulations to our winners, and remember to check the main page for which artists are banned from now on, as winners from song contests older than 20 contests ago are allowed to be re-entered.
As always entries are open for Song Contest 38, so please enter in the usual way, and please be sure to vote if you enter as it does take away from the effort others put in to listen to all of the entries and from the amount of time it takes to edit everything for everyone to enjoy.
