Welcome to the results of Song Contest 38!

The deadline for SC39 is an extra week to allow for Christmas and New Year to pass.

Reminder: ties are not really shown in any form of order, merely what the program outputs them as. I'll manually edit the final image if there is a tie amongst the top 3 countries, but if it's lower down it will be noted in the text and on the Previously Entered song list.

Reminder: As of now all winners from 20 contests ago are available to be entered again. This will continue going forwards. This is due to the fact there's a long gap between entries and we get a lot of new people entering, so opening up things seems better.

That said, the same song by the artist is still banned, so be sure to check the song has not been previously entered still.

Now... onto the Results

We start off with Plainterra!

An early twelve points to New Beeland, but it's early days and they are up next, so let's see what changes!

New Beeland drops four places and now ties with Plainterra who received twelve points from New Beeland. Hallownest however jump up to first with Phyrexia and Germanyland right behind them tied for second. Let's go over to our current last place, Cloudland, for their points!

Twelve points to No Man's Land jumps them up to second place. New Beeland and Plainterra have dropped right down to the right hand side, and Phyrexia are our new leaders. Let's see what happens as we go over to USA.

Phyrexia and Germanyland are tied again, but this time for first place! Whoville are hot on their heels just a single point behind them, with No Man's Land dropping to fourth, and they're up next!

Germanyland now take the lead as Phyrexia drop back to third. Whoville now take that second place spot. It's a hard fought contest at the top, and we're going over to Poland next, so let's see what changes!

Germanyland now tie for first with Whoville. Interestingly Germanyland are yet to receive a twelve while Whoville have, so if we were to look at tie breakers Whoville are in the lead! Happy Blockmas is up next to give their points.

And No Man's Land takes the lead, but only by a single point as Whoville move to second place, and Germanyland land in third! With just four countries remaining let's go over to our previous leaders Hallownest for their points!

And another twelve to No Man's Land, that's three in a row and they are solidly in the lead at this stage. Germanyland and Phyrexia are tied in second. Both are yet to give their points though, so they need a solid result next to keep them in the running. Our fourth place, Whoville, are up next as well!

And that guarentees a top three finish for No Man's Land. Phyrexia and Germanyland can only finish second at best. Whoville can win if they get twelve points from both remaining countries and No Man's Land receive just a single point from both, so let's go to Germanyland to find out!

While Whoville received more points than No Man's Land they cannot catch up at this point, and so No Man's Land is the winner of Song Contest 38! But second place is still to be fought for. Phyrexia sit in second, but they are the final country to give their points out. Will they remain in second or will Germanyland or Whoville leap over them at the last minute?

And No Man's Land take the victory for the final Song Contest of 2023 in a pretty landslide victory. Germanyland pull out a solid second, and Phyrexia take third place, a huge congratulations to all three.
