Welcome to the results of Song Contest 39!

Reminder: ties are not really shown in any form of order, merely what the program outputs them as. I'll manually edit the final image if there is a tie amongst the top 3 countries, but if it's lower down it will be noted in the text and on the Previously Entered song list.

Reminder: As of now all winners from 20 contests ago are available to be entered again. This will continue going forwards. This is due to the fact there's a long gap between entries and we get a lot of new people entering, so opening up things seems better.

That said, the same song by the artist is still banned, so be sure to check the song has not been previously entered still.

Now... onto the Results

We start off with Norweb!

Hallownest off to an early lead, and Germanyland and Beau Neeland the ones to stay on zero alongside Norweb at the start! Let's go over to Phyrexia for their votes.

Norweb get a twelve and move to join a tie for third place, while Hallownest and Loompaland tie for first. Only Germanyland remains on zero points. Hallownest is up next though, so will they remain at the top? Even a single point for Loompaland will knock them back.

Another twelve for Norweb, but Loompaland just edge ahead still. Germanyland are still yet to leave the starting grid. Will Alaria 2024 change their fortunes?

And they do! Germanyland leaps over two countries as they get their first points. At the top end of the board Loompaland remain in first but have been caught up as Norweb trail by a single point followed closely by Hallownest. It's still all to play for though as we go over to the USA for their votes.

And a third twelve for Norweb shoves them into the lead! Loompaland remain in second though as Hallownest only just grab a single point. Up next we have Plainterra who have just moved onto the left hand side, will they fall back to the right with their votes? Let's find out!

And they do fall back, but at the same time Norweb received only a single point, which has allowed Loompaland to come back to sit behind by just one point. We're reaching the halfway point and it's looking like a three horse race so far between Norweb, Loompaland and Hallownest. Chaos sits in last place but they're up next, so they aren't going to improve just yet.

And another twelve for Loompaland gives them a ten point lead, with Hallownest not getting a single point and allowing Cloudland to take third! We still have six countries left to vote though, including our current leaders, so a lot can happen still. Let's go over to Poland for their results!

Another strong score for Loompaland as they take a fifteen point lead. No matter what they will retain the top position with the next votes. Cloudland however has caught up with Norweb and trails by a single point, and has a good ten point lead over Hallownest. The only countries officially out of the running at this point is Chaos and Beau Neeland, as with a maximum of sixty points available every other country has a chance at catching Loompaland other than Chaos, and as Beau Neeland are still to vote, the maximum they can receive is 48. Let's get back to those votes as we go over to Bearville!

No points at all for our top two places which means Cloudland jump into second place! It also means the only countries out of the running are still Chaos and Beau Neeland! Germanyland however is up next so this could knock a few out.

Twelve points to Plainterra and they have shot up into fourth place while Hallownest have vanished into sixth. Loompaland remain in first but Cloudland are slowly closing that gap. There's only three countries left to vote though, so will Loompaland remain in first? Their votes have not been given yet either, so it could all change. For now though we go over to Beau Neeland for their results!

And a second twelve for Plainterra and they've leapt up into second place from the right hand side in just three rounds of voting! Norweb have fallen right back to fifth place! Just two countries are left to vote, and both are in the top three! Only Hallownest and higher have a chance at this stage (Minus Cloudland because they require 12 points to tie and cannot break the tiebreakers - ed), so let's go over to our third place Cloudland and see what their results do to the standings.

And a third twelve for Plainterra! They are just eight points behind Loompaland who lead, and are the only country that has a chance to win at this stage other than Loompaland. Norweb and Phyrexia tie for third and at best can get second if Loompaland gives zero points to Plainterra. So let's check in with Loompaland and see whether they remain in first, or if Plainterra take the victory...

1st: Plainterra - Teddy Swims - Lose Control

It's a victory for Plainterra who flew up the board to secure the top spot! Loompaland take second, and Norweb stomp into third in their wooden clogs. Well done to the top three, and a huge congratulations to our winner Plainterra!
