Welcome to the results of Song Contest 45!

Before we begin, sign ups are officially open for Song Contest 46.

SC46 Entry Deadline:

Wednesday 20th November - 11:59pm GMT

Please check the home page for full details on how to enter.

Note: Song Contest 46 is the live contest!. You may enter and vote online as normal, but you may also turn up to experience the results live (and vote live) in person on the 30th of November (Assuming I know you in person and you've been invited of course) Songs are limited to 3 minutes and 30 seconds in length, which is the entire music video length, not just the music portion of it. I will only be checking song length. So if you enter and it's too long it will be denied. If you enter late and it's denied, you may not get chance to fix it, so be careful when choosing your entry.

Reminder:  ties are not really shown in any form of order, merely what the program outputs them as. I'll manually edit the final image if there is a tie amongst the top 3 countries, but if it's lower down it will be noted in the text and on the Previously Entered song list.

Now... onto the Results

We start off with Ambrosia!

Germanyland starts off strong, with Ambrosia in last, but considering they were up first, no information can be gained from that. So let us move swiftly on to NUSA!

2.png

And Cheriville jump into first with a solid twelve points, while Ambrosia already leap up two spaces comfortably. Let's see if we can go faster with Alaria.

3.png

Germanyland back on top again as Cheriville drop to second, but it's still all relatively close on the left hand side as the top five are all within five points of each other. Let's head over to United States for their votes!

4.png

And now it's neck and neck with Cheriville and Poland, as Poland jump over Germanyland to tie for first. My Room appear to have set up shop at the bottom of the standings and they won't be moving yet as it's over to them next!

5.png

Poland take the top spot solo as Cheriville drop back a spot to second, with Germanyland still holding comfortable in third. It's beginning to look like a three horse race here. Will that change with Umbria?

6.png

Still no change with who is in the top three, but a small change in the order as Poland move back to second. Phyrexia appear to be creeping up being Germanyland though, but they won't catch them yet as they are next to vote!

7.png

Cheriville taking a strong lead now as they move ten points ahead of Poland, and there's just four countries left to vote! My Room have dropped out of the running at this point as well, and interestingly the entirety of the top four are still to vote! So let's see how Germanyland change the results!

8.png

Germanyland remain in fourth, but Phyrexia are now just a single point behind them, while Poland has gained on Cheriville, cutting their lead by half! With a maximum of 36 points to be gained now anyone except My Room could still win, but will Poland screw themselves over? Let's see their results to find out!

9.png

Poland manage to stay in second, but Cheriville's lead extends to nine, while Phyrexia finally knock Germanyland out of the top three! Just two results left to be given, and Cheriville is one of them. Everyone on the left side of the board is still in with a shot at winning, however the right hand side no longer stand a chance. It's over to Cheriville, will they hold onto first?

10.png

And they do, but look at that top three! Just two points between all of them. One of those three has to win and it all comes down to Hallownest's votes! Will Cheriville remain on top as they have the entire contest? Will Phyrexia cause a suprise upset after not being near the top the entire way? Or will Poland finally take the top spot as they've been threatening to do for a long time? Hallownest, you're up!

1st: Poland - Dean Lewis - Waves

And Poland just take the top spot at the last minute, with Phyrexia dropping to third, and Cheriville falling to third! A very strong contest all round and congratulations to our entire top three for landing so close.

Once again, entries are open for Song Contest 46, and please remember it is the live contest and so entries cannot have a video longer than 3:30. So take that into consideration when picking your entry. (I shall allow a few seconds grace as I've seen Youtube videos claim they are one length only to be a few seconds shorter when you hit play, but I mean a few seconds, 3:35 would be the absolute maximum allowance for that).
