Welcome to the results of Song Contest 53!

Reminder: ties are not really shown in any form of order, merely what the program outputs them as. I'll manually edit the final image if there is a tie amongst the top 3 countries, but if it's lower down it will be noted in the text and on the Previously Entered song list.

Before we get into the results, one countries failed to vote. Bearvllle therefore will receive -20 points and if we get more than 26 entries in the next contest, will also be barred from entering it.

That said, it's time to get straight into the results with Denmark!

USA taking the early lead, and Bearville immediately making a move towards making their points back. But there's a long way to go still, so let's check in with Flapland.

USA remain in first, and Bearville continue inching towards the starting line. Denmark, The Bomb Site and Poland remain on zero however. NUSA are up next with their votes.

And for possibly the first time ever, there are more countries on zero points now than in the last image, as Bearville gain twelve points and make it to zero points. USA remain in first at the top end, but there's a lot of countries tied in the middle of the pack. Let's go over to our current second place, Phyrexia, for their votes.

A solid twelve to Hallownest push them up to second, with USA staying in first, and Alaria inching ahead of the pack to third. Still a four way tie for last as well, let's see if The Bomb Site do anything about either end of our board.

And they do! Alaria now overtake USA, if only by a single point, and both Denmark and Bearville move off the zero point mark, leaving just The Bomb Site themselves and Poland on zero points. Hallownest are up next, will they remain in third or will they drop further back?

And they do stay in third, but they drag Y Ty Neidr up to join them, while simultaneously giving Alaria a thirteen point lead! At the bottom end The Bomb Site finally get their first points leaving Poland as the only country yet to receive a single point. Let's check in with The Bored Lands for their results.

Another twelve for Alaria putting them nineteen points ahead of USA and Hallownest who are tied for second place. It's pretty tight along the middle of the pack, and much less tight at the back where Poland is going nowhere fast. Let's go over to Utopia III for their votes.

No points for Alaria at all there, and USA and Hallownest fall back to joint fourth as Phyrexia and Seoul move up the rankings to second and third respectively. Poland however is still dead last. Let's go to the second half of the results by checking in with our first place country, Alaria.

A solid twelve for Utopia III push USA and Hallownest back to joint fifth, while Seoul jump up to second, closing in on Alaria with just five points between them. At the bottom there's a four way tie for 13th, and Poland are still dead last. Let's check in with Norway!

Hallownest take twelve points, breaking the tie with USA and moving them into fourth. Alaria stay in first, but Seoul close the gap by another point. Poland have yet to move. Over to Y Ty Neidr!

Another twelve to Alaria and they move up to a fourteen point lead over Seoul. There are just five countries left to vote, which means Poland, still on zero points, are no longer able to win. Let's go over to Seoul and see if the lead for Alaria extends further.

It does! Alaria now have a twenty one point lead over Hallownest in second place. It also means with just forty eight points as the maximum left to be gained, every country from Norway and below are out of the running for first place. Poland, our current zero point country, are up next to give their results.

No points go to Alaria, but also none to Hallownest who still remain in second, meaning Alaria keep their twenty one point lead. Thirty six points is the most any country can receive now, so any country below Utopia III can no longer win. Will Poland get any points at all? Let's check in with 12 Points for their results.

Poland get their first point! Literally a single point! But more importantly Alaria get another twelve points, giving them a twenty nine point lead, making them the guaranteed winners of Song Contest 53! So the remaining votes will decide two things. Who will take second place, and will Alaria get more than nineteen points in the last two votes, and become our new highest ever scoring country? It's over to Germanyland for us to find out their results.

Twelve points to Alaria put them just seven points behind our highest scoring winner. Hallownest move up to second place, and way back at the bottom Poland quadruple their points and now have four points! USA is in third place, will they remain there or will they drop as they give our final points of the contest?

1st: Alaria - Electric Callboy & Babymetal - Rattata

Alaria take the top spot, and succeed in becoming the highest scoring country of all time! Second place goes to Hallownest, with Seoul taking third, as Hallownest got two twelve point votes, while Seoul just received one.

As the winning song had two main artists BOTH have been banned for the next twenty contests. So Electric Callboy and Babymetal may not be entered.
